It comes from the Latin verb praecipere, meaning to advise, instruct, or teach in advance. A praeceptor is someone who imparts knowledge, gives direction, and shapes understanding — not just through information, but through example and leadership.  Praeceptor K9 isn't just about obedience training — it's about developing both the dog and the handler through purposeful instruction, accountability, and growth.

Established in 2025, Praeceptor K9 was formed through the collaboration of four accomplished dog training companies, uniting decades of experience under one mission: to deliver results-driven, personalized training for every dog and handler.
